In the last ten years Beijing's modern music scene has been heavily influenced by louder genres such as punk and metal, but a growing number of bands are taking to a poppy, electronic style. One of the bands promoting a less chaotic and more melodic style of music is the curiously named Carrchy (卡奇社). Carrchy is made up of singer/songwriter Keli (颗粒) and producer Fly (于鸿飞), both natives of Qingdao, Shandong province who have been based in Beijing for the past several years. Read more on Last.fm
