Usotsuki Barbie is a three-piece band formed in 2002 in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, consisting of Yusuke Iwashita (Bass/Vocals), Toshiya Chibu (Guitar), and Shigeru Toyoda (Drums). They made their debut in March 2007 with the mini-album *Kodomo no Fukumiguse* (a Tower Records exclusive). In January 2008, they released their second mini-album, *Fueta 1 mo Guru*, followed in November by their first full-length album—titled *Mondai no Second* (The Problematic Second) despite actually being their third album.
