Yasuaki Iwata was affiliated with Nintendo. A former game music composer. After joining the company, he was assigned to Nintendo's Information Development Division (now the Planning and Production Division). He was assigned to the team. His first work was Super Mario 3D World, and he later co-wrote Mario Kart 8 and ARMS.
