A Boy Named Sue appeared in 2003. The band is basically a solo-project formed in 2002 by Stig Sandbakk, a former rock-singer whom as a teenager played in a group with 70s progressive rock influences. The project soon emerged into a band-concept, as some very talented musicians couldnĀ“t keep their hands off Sandbakks compositions, which with mostly acoustic instrumentation mixed with electronic sounds describe the darkness of daily life and the weird ways of the human mind.
