A HUNDRED BIRDS is a fifteen-member live group led by producer/conductor Yoku, based in Tokyo, Japan. In 2001, Wave Music released the A HUNDRED BIRDS single BATONGA, which Japan's largest record shop reported as the second biggest seller that year after Daft Punk. Every Christmas Eve in Tokyo, Yoku expands A HUNDRED BIRDS to a 40 piece orchestra and adds additional live vocalists.
