Anawak started in 1998 with its Mexican founder as soloist singer in different types of ceremonies around Mexico: Oaxaca with the Mazatecos, Wixarika sacred spots in North Mexico, Central Mexico with Aztec tradition, Teotihuacan in "Dance of the Moon" and Lakota's Sundance, Zipolite International Beach, Oaxaca for 15 years in a row.
