BLACKPINK (Hangul: 블랙핑크; Katakana :ブラックピンク; stylized as BLΛƆKPIИK) is a four-member girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of JISOO (지수), JENNIE (제니), ROSÉ (로제) and LISA (리사). On May 31, 2016, YG Entertainment began releasing individual teaser photos of the members for the agency's then-unnamed, upcoming girl group on Instagram, starting with Jennie the same day.
