Balmorhea (Bal-more-ay) is a band from Austin, Texas, United States. Formed in 2006 by RG Lowe and Michael A. Muller, members also include Aisha Burns (violin), Kendall Clark (percussion), Dylan Rieck (cello), and Travis Chapman (double bass). The band has produced five full-length albums, including the recent release Stranger, which was released in October 2012 followed by a 5-week North American Tour in its support.
