The Copenhagen based, Bandapart, is a new band formed by four young musicians who individually have already influenced the sound of Danish jazz. With their debut album, Bandapart, released on ILK in 2005, they have created a sound universe of scenic dimensions. They mix up noise rock with jazz aesthetics and into a dusty, dreamy space where you will find sounds reminiscent of both Duke Ellington and Sonic Youth.
