There are (at least) two artists with this name. 1) Barbara King was a soul/funk artist. Her song "What I Did in the Street" appears on the Sister Funk 2: The Sound of the Unknown Soul Sisters compilation. 2) Barbara King is a jazz vocalist, reminiscent of Sarah Vaughan.
