Formed in 2001, Bleeding Kansas hails from Burbank, CA, and comprises vocalist Ben March, guitarist Daniel Poulet, bassist Mike Wetzel, and drummer Jake Poulet. Inspired by the early-2000s convergence of hardcore, emo, screamo, and metal, the quartet recorded their first EP with the help of scene acquaintance Kurt Ballou (of Converge), then followed it with a full album, entitled Dead Under Decor, in 2006. Following up to 06's Dead Under Decor, came the split s/t 12" with Burbank natives, Cathedrals, on Melotov Records. Read more on Last.fm
