A techno-pop production team on one of Cologne, Germany's many superb electronic labels, Italic, Borneo & Sporenburg are just as likely to produce tasteful, minimal tech-house as they are likely to produce something that sounds like a cross between smooth soul and mid-'80s sophisti-pop. Simultaneously hailing from Zurich and Stuttgart, Borneo (Daniel Varga) and Sporenburg (Frank Wössner) are equally inspired by New Order and Mike Ink.
