Charlie Patton's War formed in 2010 when musicians Aaron Frazer (drums/vocals), Blake Rhein (guitar/vocals), Kyle Houpt (guitar), and Justin Hubler (keys) met in Bloomington, Indiana. All were studying at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music (Indiana University) when they discovered a common interest in blues, jazz, and rock music.
