Death of the Cool is an industrial/alternative rock band from Cambridge, Massachusetts. The band's sound is influenced by other post-industrial rock-orchestras, such as Filter, Electric Six and Nine Inch Nails. The band consists of Izzy Maxwell (from Count Zero) Jeff Allen (from Breaking Wheel) Pete Maguire (from inter:sect) and Geoff Pitsch (from Father Octopus) They recorded the song "Can't Let Go" specifically for the popular videogame Rock Band in 2007.
