An obscure nugget that has been thankfully unearthed and given to the funk Masses, The Detroit Sex Machines are the epitome of underground funk. The group's music was rediscovered in a Michigan area vinyl collection (circa 2000). Soon after, members of the band were found and re-release of the material from this late '60s/early '70s band was issued. The DSM song āRap It Togetherā wound up on the Ubiquity compilation "Searching for Soul." Since then, hardcore funk fans have been digging deep for more from this Motown group. Read more on Last.fm
