From the ashes of Akta Angkasa and Custom Daisy, Dirgahayu first emerged in July 2013 as a 3Â-piece instrumental rock outfit. The band initial hit the scene with a single release BahawasaÂ-nya: 4 minutes of organised chaos, robust guitar attacks, and exuberant drum beats punctuated by intense abrupt transitions. In conjunction of their nationwide tour 2013-14, directed by Carlos Nizam and Khairul Johari, Bahawasa-Ânya’s music video was released with compelling positive reviews from all over the region.
