1) Disembodied is an American groove metal/metalcore band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group formed in 1995 and are known for their heavy, dissonant style as well as pioneering the nu metalcore fusion genre. They have released several EPs and two LPs (Diablerie and Heretic). After the band first broke up in 1999, its members formed Martyr AD, Devilinside, and Enskye. Disembodied reunited on May 2, 2009 at the Burning Fight festival in Chicago, IL. Read more on Last.fm
