Embodyment was an American Christian metal band formed in Arlington, Texas in the early 1990s. Originally starting under the name Supplication, the group began as a brutal death metal act before evolving into one of the earliest bands associated with deathcore on their 1998 debut album Embrace the Eternal. After Embrace the Eternal, the band underwent a major stylistic shift. Vocalist Kris McCaddon left the group, and with the addition of new singer Sean Corbray, Embodyment moved away from their old sound almost entirely. Read more on Last.fm
