From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The English Concert is a British Baroque orchestra based in London that was founded by the harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock in 1973, and since 2003 led by the Baroque violinist Andrew Manze. Beginning in September 2007 the Artistic Director of the English Concert will be Harry Bicket.
