Although he knew the word "Piazzolla" and "Tango" would be forever bonded, he decided to played jazz. In spite of being his grandfather a "bandoneon" icon, he chose drums. Beyond family traditions, Daniel "Pipi" Piazzolla created Escalandrum in 1999 to celebrate music among friends.
