2021 saw the birth of one of the most interesting projects on the current musical scene: Expresso Transatlântico. The Lisbon band that brought together Celeste Rodrigues' brothers and great-grandchildren, Gaspar and Sebastião Varela, on Portuguese and electric guitars respectively, and Rafael Matos on drums, released their eponymous debut EP at the end of 2021 and has since received the most distinct praise from national and international audiences.
