Faith & Disease is an ethereal wave band from Seattle, Washington, United States, formed in 1991. The founders and main members of the band are vocalist Dara Rosenwasser and guitarist / songwriter Eric Cooley. Their often melancholy sound has been compared to early 4AD artists like Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, and This Mortal Coil, but they have also been influenced by Mazzy Star, The Cure (who they have covered), and The Velvet Underground, among others.
