Flying Norwegians was a Norwegian country rock band formed in Bergen in January 1974 by Rune Walle and Jarle Zimmermann (later known for the solo project Zimmerman in the 80s). Soon after they were joined by Cato Sanden (died 2005, but prior to that co-operated with American folk artist Laurie Lewis), Gunnar Bergstrøm (from roots band Hole In The Wall), and Johannes Torkelsen.
