Galaxie is a francophone indie garage rock formed in 2002 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They were formerly known as Galaxie 500 (and should not be confused with the American alternative rock band of that name). They have released several albums including a self-titled album (2002), Le Temps au Point Mort (2006), and Tigre et diesel (2011). Following the release of Le Temps au Point Mort, the band was nominated for the Group of the Year award in the 10th annual MIMI (Montreal International Music Initiative) awards. Read more on Last.fm
