Halo Nova (who now produces under the pseudonym Varien ), real name Nikki Kaelar, is an electronic music producer from Tampa, FL. Their styles range from tearout, dubstep, to moombahton and electro. Nikki has been surrounded by music since they were a child, being raised on jazz, metal, and video game music. At the age of 14 they took up playing piano seriously and started learning music theory with a concentration in jazz. In 2006 at 16 they started a musical project called Nexus. Read more on Last.fm
