Hans Christian Andersen [ˈhanˀs ˈkʰʁæʂd̥jan ˈɑnɐsn̩] or simply H.C. Andersen [hɔse ˈɑnɐsn̩], (April 2, 1805 – August 4, 1875) was a Danish author and poet most famous for his fairy tales. There is a contemporary musician called Hans Christian Andersen as well, member of Spökraket, Lullabies For Insomniacs (his solo project) and The Immoderate Past. Also a bit of a poet.
