Led by guitarist Harvey Hall-Nickerson, Harvey & The Phenomenals were a notable presence on the Cleveland, Ohio club circuit in the era we’re concerned with. But like hundreds of well-drilled funk acts around the USA, they seldom got the chance to record, releasing just two 45s.
