Las Hermanas Ăguila (The Aguila Sisters) are Maria Esperanza (the brunette) and Maria Paz Villalobos Eagle (The blonde), were a beautiful and fine duet from Guadalajara, Mexico which initially sang ranchera in the early 30s at Teatro Degollado. Through (XEW) radio they became known even outside their own country. Named "Best Duet of America" by Gonzalo Curiel they interpreted beautiful songs of the Romantic composers such as Don AgustĂn Lara, Gabriel Ruiz, Los Hermanos Dominguez, Maria Grever, Consuelo VelĂĄzquez, among others.
