Hoboken are a three-piece Glasgow-based group who combine inspired electronica influenced by the likes of Sparks, Georgio Morodor and Depeche Mode with the drama and romance of Scott Walker and Jacque Brel, to produce dark yet uplifting songs about love, sex and death. Formed in 2001, Hoboken released their first single, Hotel Lisboa, in July 2003, and followed it up with their second single, Vainglorious, in November of the same year. Both received rave reviews.
