There are two artists called IOS, 1) A Dutch band whose name stems from Is Ook Schitterend - hard to translate in English but it would be something like 'It's brilliant too'. 2) A French alternative rock band. 1) IOS was set up in 1996 by a group of friends from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
