In Flames is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in 1990 in Gothenburg. The band is regarded as one of the pioneering acts of the Gothenburg metal scene, alongside At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity. The lineup has undergone numerous changes, with vocalist Anders Fridén and guitarist Björn Gelotte being the only members to have remained continuously since 1995. Following the departure of founding member Jesper Strömblad in 2010, no original members have remained in the band. In Flames has sold more than two million records worldwide. Read more on Last.fm
