Indexi were a popular rock band from former Yugoslavia, and are considered to be the pioneers of Yugoslav rock. Indexi were formed in 1962 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disbanded in 2001 after the death of Davorin PopoviÄ. The most prominent members of Indexi were Davorin PopoviÄ, singer known for his illustrious character, charisma and voice both on and off stage, and guitarist Slobodan Bodo KovaÄeviÄ who is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential ex-Yugoslav guitar players.
