JAQL (pronounced Jackal) is an alias of Canadian electronic artist Em Essex created in 2008 and under the current Halley Labs label. He is a dog that makes dubstep, footwork, grime, and hip-hop. JAQL was retired for a while, and had some of their songs re-released under Klippa, before coming back with their EP Retourne in 2013. Read more on Last.fm
