Jason was born to sing. His childhood was lost to hours plunking away on a small, Yamaha keyboard and recording into a toy karaoke set, all the while trying to belt it like his gospel-singing, Baptist mother. Raised in the church, he penned his first tunes at the organ, but then quickly decided that hymnody was not his style.
