Jesus on Extasy is a German industrial/alternative rock band formed in 2005 in Essen, Germany. The band was founded by cousins Dorian Deveraux (vocals, programming) and Chai Deveraux (guitar, programming). Initially operating as a duo and using drum machines, the project combined electronic structures with rock and industrial elements. In late 2006, Jesus on Extasy expanded into a full band with the addition of Ophelia DAX (keyboards), BJ (drums) and Andrea Odendahl (guitar), resulting in a more layered and guitar-driven sound.
