Johanna grew up singing in a church choir. She loves dancing. She has a 5 piece band based in New York City. She writes, records and performs kick-ass soul rock. Her lyrics are about times that she screwed up or broke up, and the progressions and rhythms come from the kind of music she likes: rock, dance and soul.
