Born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, this guitar virtuoso moved to Montreal, Canada in 1998 and is now a much-loved figure on the Quebec scene. The bulk of the material he performs and record is an original fusion that goes from flamenco to jazz, and world music to rock. Martinez writes the music and arrangements for the small ensemble of players he performs with since 2006, while still allowing them creative freedom.
