Buhr is a Brazilian singer, musician, and actress. Buhr was born in Bahia, but grew up in the state of Pernambuco, where she was introduced to the the region's folk-music. She formed the band Comadre Fulozinha in 1997, which became successful in its presentation of the musical traditions of Pernambuco. For her first solo album, Eu Menti Pra VocĂȘ, however, she stayed away from the safety of the maracatus and local rhythms from Recife that had made her band famous. Read more on Last.fm
