Folk rock/alternative bluegrass artist, King Mountain, was assembled in December of 2009. By chance, the already established line-up of Jake Piazza, Jake Nemyer, and Drew Guntle came across singer/songwriter Joel Cederberg and clouds parted and trumpets sound. The former electric and effect-heavy project of the 2 Jakes and Drew had become stagnant and Joel's song composition and lyrical honesty was the palette cleanser and opportunity they were all seeking.
