Korn (stylized as KoЯn) is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993 by James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and David Silveria, who were previously members of the band L.A.P.D. The current lineup consists of Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Jonathan Davis (vocals), and Ray Luzier (drums), who replaced Silveria in 2007.
