Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu were a five-member band hailing from Western Finland. The band combined elements of traditional Finnish folk music with energetic rock, blending into catchy tunes with a twist. The band's frontman sang all lyrics in the distinct Western Finnish dialect, creating a distinct feeling of the music coming from a long tradition of folk singers.
