Lukraaketaar is a South African acoustic group consisting out of Pierre Greeff and Alwyn Kotzé. Their art is mostly in Afrikaans, one of South Africa's eleven official languages. They describe their lyrics as "soulful words" and their music as "acoustic with kick". The groups' name, Lukraaketaar, is a combination of two words: "lukraak", (random), and "ketaar", which according to them is a word play on "kitaar" (guitar) and "kommentaar" (commentary).
