Luna Mortis is an American metal band from Madison, Wisconsin, formed in 2004. Luna Mortis was a great band and vocalist Mary Zimmer could not only do great clean vocals but gutturals as well. They mixed genres (Melodic death, prog metal, and standard metal) to make a unique sound. At once melodic and abrasive, technical and engaging, the female-fronted quintet blurs genre lines and transcends convention, carving a niche all their own, providing a new and powerful voice in metal.
