A Brazilian of Congolese origin, she has catalogued galaxies; released an album, an EP, and several singles; speaks four languages; is a TEDx Talks speaker; and published her first book, A Viagem de Nyota, in 2023 at the Planetarium do Carmo (SĂŁo Paulo). She was honored with the VirgĂlio Várzea Medal and Certificate of Merit, awarded by the city of FlorianĂłpolis (2023).
