Mavradoxa is an American metal band that formed in Rochester, New York in 2015. Their musical style fuses elements from atmospheric black metal, post-rock, dark folk, & doom. The band was formed by guitarist/vocalist Nival & drummer Lux. They released their first album Sojourners in the winter of 2016, & then a follow-up entitled Lethean Lament in the summer of 2017. .
