Mekanik is a Turkish thrash metal band formed by bassist Caner Öner, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Cem Ceyhan in 2011. Erhan Ballıeker later joined as the drummer and Barış Dai as the lead guitarist. Shortly after then, Ahmet Akyüz took the place of Barış. With this lineup, they released their debut album Kitlesel Depresyon in 2012. 2 years after the release of Kitlesel Depresyon, they released their second album Diktatör without a lineup change in 2014.
