Beverly Shaw was a legendary American lesbian lounge singer and club owner (Club Laurel). She was born in around 1910 and died of cancer in 1990. She recorded one album, ‘ Songs Tailored to Your Taste’. A track from this (‘I’m Nobody’s Baby’) was used in the TV series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’.
