Montañera (or Mountainess) is Colombian musician María Mónica Gutiérrez, currently based in London, UK. She has played in the bands Suricato (new Colombian music/jazz), and Ságan (cosmo-natural pop). Her solo albums, "Encarnación" (2017) and "Salvadora" (2020) each received an Honourable Mention by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. Her 2023 solo album.
