Night of the Vampire is a one-man American black metal/darkwave project from Texas, formed around 2021–2022 by the mysterious mastermind Astral Shadow. It fuses raw black metal aggression with 80s-inspired darkwave, gothic rock, deathrock, post-punk, and synth-heavy atmospheres, creating a vampiric, psychedelic, and nocturnal hybrid sound.
