There are at least two artists that go by the name of On Our Own 1) On Our Own formed in the fall of 2001 with the intention of bringing a straightforward yet diverse hardcore sound (old school meets new school) to the South Florida hardcore scene. The members agreed that, with the exception of a few bands, there was a lack of straight-up hardcore bands that once defined the sound of South Florida hardcore.
